The Magnite comes with two engine options: The 1.0 -litre turbo-petrol engine produces 100bhp and the 1.0 -litre turbo-petrol unit churns out 72bhp. The turbo-petrol engine is also offered with a CVT gearbox. The Magnite CNG variant is also now available, which is an attractive option especially for customers who prefer mileage. Top speed is expected to be around 170km / h.

The Nissan Magnite has received a 4-star safety rating in the Global NCAP crash test, which makes it a safe SUV in its segment. Safety features include 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, a high-speed alert system, and a seat belt reminder alarm.
